Niklas Ekvall appointed new CEO of AP4

Niklas Ekvall has extensive experience from managing both organizations and specialists in the financial sector and especially within asset management.  He has held leading positions at, among others, Nordea, Carnegie and AP3 and has substantial experience of managing financial risks. Niklas has a solid academic background and has been active at the Stockholm School of Economics.

Niklas Ekvall will replace Mats Andersson as CEO of AP4 as of October 1, 2016. After ten years as AP4’s CEO, Mats Andersson will leave his position on July 12. Per Colleen, Head of Equities at AP4, will act as interim CEO until Niklas Ekvall assumes the position.
